Your k800i will work fine in the US.

Just contact your operator to ensure your account is setup for roaming in the US is all you have to worry about. They will also advise on costs and networks to choose over there.

i have one of theese phones and had no problems with it in the america at all it was the only phone i never had probs with over there,enjoy ur hols!!
