Why was my eklectric picninc thread locked?

    Hi

    I posted requesting information about working in a bar for the electric picnic festival yesterday. Albeit work and jobs is a slow enough Forum, so I didnt get any replies straight away, however at 1.30am the thread was locked, with the helpful advice on "ask the company you applied to". Whats the point in that?

    boards is all about opinions and suggestions, I cant get previous experience of working in a festival bar from the company I'm going to apply to. With all due respect, I don't think the thread should have been locked.

    Anyway, I dont think the thread was locked cos a mod thought it was one of 'those' events. Theres plenty of natter around the music fora about the EP
