Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

connecting dvd player to lcd monitor

    Hi,
    I have Toshiba sd370e DVD player with HDMI connection on it. I decided to connect it to my 24' lcd monitor through HDMI cable and DVI-HDMI adapter.

    But I have a huge quality issue there. resolution looks fine, but it looks like there are some colours missing in gamut. Like watching 24 clolour bits photo on 8 bits monitor.

    Is that because of the adapter (cheap one from dixons). I chcecked the rest with LCD tv and its fine, so I suspect adapter but don't want to spend 30 quids on thing which wont work.

    Anyone has expierence in connecting dvd player to monitor
