hi there, I am trying to put together my first new build and I wanted to see if you see any issues. Want to play COD4, crysis and other FPS, use photoshop and some encoding. This is what I came up with. Want to keep it below 1400euro. Want atleast 24inch screen and a low key, quiet case and components. This is what I thought using the hardwareversand site.

    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 boxed, 8192Kb, LGA775, 64bit, Kentsfield €129,89
Coolermaster Cosmos ohne Netzteil silber €167,08 €
    Arctic Freezer 7 Pro Sockel 775 €13,17
    Samsung SH-223F bare schwarz €20,64
    Club3D HD4870 512MB, ATI Radeon HD4870, PCI-Express €205,54
    Samsung HD103UJ 1TB 32MB SATA II €107,99
    ASUS P5Q3 DELUXE/WIFI-AP, Intel P45, Sockel 775, ATX, DDR3 €157,60
    4096MB DDR2 Corsair Twin2X CL 5, PC6400/800 €72,89
    Samsung SyncMaster T240 €329,99
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit SB-Version €66,32
    ATX-Netzteil Corsair TX650W 650 Watt € 69,49 €
    Sum: 1.340,60

was keen on 4870x2 but think a little too much for the amount of gaming I would do. What do you guys of the above. Any problems or suggustions?

Looks good, can't see anything wrong with it tbh. 4870x2 is great but complete over kill, unless you plan to play crysis at full spec on that monitor.

    Asus P5K-E/WIFI-AP, P35, Socket-775, DDR2, WIFI, ATX, GbLAN, PCI-Ex16
Cooler Master Cosmos Silver Fans, Aluminum (Without PSU)
    Corsair Powersupply 620W Black, ATX/EPS, 120mm Fan, 8xSATA, SLI, WxHxL 150x86x150
    Gainward Radeon HD 4870 512MB GDDR5, PCI-Express 2.0, 2xDVI/HDMI/HDCP
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz Socket LGA775, 8MB, BOXED w/fan

Samsung DVD±RW burner, SH-S203P, 20x, Black, Lightscribe, Nero, OEM, SATA
    Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA2 32MB 7200RPM

not a huge difference in the price between HV and komplett, nearly worth to me for ease of use

You get a Q9550 and HD4870X2 for the same money on hardwareversand.

If you dont want to wait 3 weeks go with Komplett.
