Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    has to be Lamps. that's the type of thing these 'major announcements' usually are. perhaps they are using it as a smokescreen for something else but I don't expect to be shocked.

    Yeah more than likely.

    Can't see it being Robinho, Madrid are still saying he's staying.They said it this morning so doubt it.

    Can't be Kaka.

    Probably announcing a new link with Anderlecht or something!

    On a serious note, I dont see it being a big signing tbh, no way it could be kept quiet. Id say its someone signing a new deal, most likely Lampard committing himself to the club for life.

    Anywho - I reckon it will either be some sort of sponsorship deal, or Lampard signing a new contract. Don't see it being a new signing as Chelsea have not shown an ability to keep transfers quiet so I expect we would have heard something by now. (Hopefully too!)

    While they can't all be played at the same time, they will play a big part in a very long, hard and difficult season.

    Di Santo,Mikel and Essien are in that mix aswell

    Probably Lampard,Deco,Essien,Cole and Drogba. Anelka SWP Malouda and Kalou will fight it out for that last position. I think Ballack might be on the bench alot unfortunately.

    I reckon when both first choice full backs are fit he will play 4 of them in a diamond with Essien at the base and the other 3 being Lamps, Ballack and Deco. Drogs or Anelka up front together or alternating one or the other with J. Cole, Malouda, Kalou and even SWP. Di Santo is one for the future but will get a few games though as Scolari likes to blood youngsters.

    As I said already, long season so they will all play at some stage.
