Where to get fuel flap Volvo V70 (on the cheap!)

Hi,
my friend had the fuel flap (silver) taken from her Volvo V70 (2003) last night. Not broken or snapped but carefully removed.. they had the coutesy to un-hook and leave the actual fuel cap itself!

Does anyone HAVE one in silver that she can buy or point me in the right direction? Volvo themselves are charging an awful lot for it! Thanks...

Ring car breakers and see if you can get one there. You may have to respray if you can't find a silver one.

I think the hinge on these is a weak point & break easily. When we bought ours (used) it was missing (dealer source a replacement). You do see them on eBay (the hinge) as said try breakers.

next time you're at the petrol station - watch out for any similar shape volvos, when the driver opens the cap, they'll turn their back on it to pick up the pump - which gives you a 3-5 second window to pounce!!!

Or do like the others said..! Wouldn't be as much fun though...

while garages were quoting me E200!!!! got one there for E70.....:)
