Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's been raining for over 12 hours now

    Non stop for the last 6.

    All around my house is completely flooded and I haven't been able to go outside today! And It's been more or less like this all Summer. Damp, drary weather with showers of rain most days. Every two weeks or so we've got a nice day and a few days with sunshine but mostly it's been depressing.

    Is this the worst summer we've ever had weatherwise. I know it might not be the summer with the most rainfall, but every time we get a hint of sunshine, the rain immediately kicks in. :(

    Just wait until school starts back and the skys will brighten and the sun won't go away :rolleyes:

    Sure isin't it marvelous! How else in the name of God am i going to get me monies worth out of the fine pair of wellies i bought for the Millenium.

    Too wet to do any work either, sure the feicker wont even go out for a bucket of turf!

    The kids are climbing up the walls, "but Mammy we're bored" .........."there was no bored in my day i tell ya! Get out there and dig some spuds like a good lad"

    Ah the rain, can't go out in the car for fear of being washed away, but yes youre soooo right; the minute the school gate clicks........out comes the sun!

    So glad i'm at work today, but the fact that i'm even sitting here tells it's own tale of what depressing weather does to business.
