USA Iphone repair

    Anyone know where to get an iphone from the states fixed? The phone is grand and screen is grand, just totally black as if it was off. You can unlock it and hear it unlock. It comes up in itunes, but no amount of restoring will fix. Anyone reccomend/ Know of anywhere. Dublin/ Kildare area, but would travel if worth the price

    hmmm, it sounds like the screen cable has become dislodged, i had a simular problem with the headfone/vibration cable,

    I bought an opening kit on ebay and found an opening guide reconected the cable and bang it was working fine and havent had a problem since. You can even leave the phone on and check the progress.

    if you do this and still have no screen you can buy a replacment screen off the internet and instal that.

    You might need to be a bit fearless but its easy enough.
