    Well, you see.... That is why I suggested the room booking. It was getting totally out of hand. I thought a bit of shut eye for one and all would prove to be beneficial. In essence, it would calm everyone down and restore order.

    Well my first boards beers were strange, I gotta admit. Everyone introducing themselves as their usernames. Made me feel like I was at some sort of a star trek convention.:D

    But after a few hours, as you say, you loosen up. I met some amazing people that night and am in regular contact with a few.

    It'd be like meeting anyone in a pub. You're only strangers til you get talking.:)

    Yea i did my 1st boards beers there a few weeks back. Small group, all of whom knew each other so it was grand. No username intros cos we knew each others names already!

    So there you go then. No longer 'people off the internet' per se. You've met them in person. So as far as i'm concerned, nothing wrong with boardsies hooking up.;)
