Theres lots of free late Bars.

Reardens, old oak, crane lane just to mention a few.

N.B If you do not like a venue keep quiet.
I will not have this turn into a venue slagging match.
Anyone who does will recieve an infraction, second time a ban.

Gorby's costs about €3 on wednesdays at least. (That's cheap enough)

The lists above are a bit broken,
(in no particular order other than my brains)
    Late Bars...

    Brog
    Quad
    Slate
    Bailey
    Reardans
    Pavillion
    Old Oak
    Crane Lane
    Sky Bar
Chambers (at the weekend I think)
Everyman Palace Theatre (Haven't been, not sure, just heard this)

That's all I can think of. Some of the above may no longer be late bars, but last time I checked they were.

As far as free nightclubs are concerned, that's a different story. Can't think of ant 'free' off the top of my head. Try as someone said Gorby's, cheap in plus cheap drinks.

At weekends you're unlikely to find a club in Cork city that is 'free' more likely to find a place handing out concessions etc, but thats usually for the kids clubs. Cubins/Havana's is 15. Gorby's is 10 afaik, Qube is 12, Scotts is 10 I think.. Haven't been in Cork in 3 months, but think thats about right. Scandalous really, should be 7 euro maximum!

If you want value for money turn up early. Cant really blame the club. Its not their fault that people wait until they are chucked out of bars that close.
