can this be changed.

For example my phone goes to voicemail after whatever it is, 10 seconds ringing.

Can this timeout be changed ? I've a nokia 5500

Yes this can be changed.

Most networks allow you to do it via a shortcode. O2 prepay you will have to ring their customer care.

Max is 30 seconds, somenetworks (O2 prepay for example) only allow max of 20. Usually in 5 second increments.

If your number is 086 1234567 and you want 30 seconds then do
**61*08651234567**30#

(note the 5 after the 086)

this is the same for all networks, in Ireland, so in the codes given above, using full international code
