How do you divert texts on vodafone?

    Have a vodafone billpay phone with all calls diverted to another number, this works fine and passes caller id etc.

    However this doesn't divert text messages, how do you do that?



    edit - I should say I was on to 1907 and was told it wasn't possible.

    You cannot divert text messages via your network like you can calls.

    You can possibly get Symbian applications that you can install on your phone to do it for you but it will probably cost you to forward each one.

    thanks random. thats pretty crap. no reason why they couldn't
    do that too if they wanted to?

    obviously if you are diverting all calls you want txts to divert also..

    As far as i know there is no Operator in Ireland that does it.

    There are very few operators in the world that even offer this service.

    Found one though and all you have to do is move to Hong Kong!

    sorry to butt in on your thread OP. can i turn off "missed call" texts on my vodafone billpay? they're really annoying:mad:

    "To check you are activated, or to reactivate yourself, for this service, call 171 and select option 5." you should be able to turn it off here

    true, but you would think that with the ~400% profit they make per message they could afford to offer the feature!
