Lads, anyone know where the best place to get a set of motorbike carbs would be?
idealy looking for a set from a crashed bike thats being broken for example.

looking for honda fireblade or yamaha r1 carbs if i could get them.

any bike brakers in ireland?

no,been looking out for them to put on a vw golf mk1.
hence not realy minding which bike they come from as i'll need a custom manifold anyway.

I don't have anybike as recent as a Fireblade or R1 so could be wrong here but I thought both were fuel injected. They therefore feature trotle bodies and fuel injectors along with controllers circuitry etc..

It is also likely that carbs from a 1000cc bike will not match a larger, slower reving, car engine.
