Olivier has doubled up of Jonathan Butters who raised to 22k with 88 in the cut-off, Olivier raised all-in for 94k with A 9 and Butters called. An Ace and a nine on the flop and the frenchman is back in the game

The average stack is currently 35bbs which makes for plenty of play and some of the comments regarding the structure are ludicrous imo. I know us poker players are a fickle bunch but come on ffs step back into reality. Refusing to play would be akin to I'm taking my ball and going home - extremely childish. That is all.

If you advertise something and market it that way, then thats what the customer expects. Its nearly as important to have as much play at the beginning as it is in the end, maybe you dont understand why and thats fine. If they make one change like that now, what other changes will they make when it suits them.

So I think calling it childish, is even more childish...and I kept my rattle in the cot.

    wp on the updates.

We are down to 7, Ben Blackmore raised to 22k in late position and caught a reraise from Ryan to 65k, which Ben quickly reraised all-in for 212k. Ben had 1010 and Ryan gave this one a lot of thought and eventually called and turned over JJ, no help forBen and Ryan has increased his chip lead.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 185 ✭✭TheDuck32

Olivier has just doubled up of the chip leader , Ryan O Donoghue, getting his 174K in preflop with JJ, ran called him down with 66. This has lead to a leveling out of the chip stacks at the table.

Fair enough, I understand your point but I dont think it's as big a deal as your making out.

Best of luck Nicky and Rob.

When were players informed of the level change, if it was after the tournament began then its very bad. If it was before the tournament began then fair enough, as long as refunds were available if someone felt so inclined. Changing the structure after a tournament begins is a nono. It doesn't matter what stage it happens at unless all players agree to it.

TD Donal has just told me that the change to the structure was made prior to the start of the tournament and all the structure sheets handed out had the altered structure detailed on them.

If Nicky takes this down, the 'Waterford Wans' will have a dilemma whether they get "Eoin Kelly" or "NicNicNic" tattooed on their arses.

Suppose they could have one on each cheek

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 482 ✭✭oneillMan999

i came close to making the money...and i sure wouldnt be doin any deals if i hadda got down to the last few...lets hope they dont chop and play it out like men!!

    NO DEALS!!!!

Play the game the way its meant to be played...80k for the man who outlasts the rest!! simple!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,924 ✭✭✭Fatboydim

With 5/6 left the mouthy English fella bought it off the others.

Good luck to Sideshow, Nicky and Rob.

I would say that is Mark - English guy who actully lives in the Czech Republic. He was on my left for most of the two days and doubled me up when it got down to three tables with the QQ v my J3 flush draw [board was 10 9 4 two hearts].

He's ultra aggressive player and I actually thought he would fold to my push knowing exactly what I had. He's actually a nice guy, a good player and slightly schizophrenic.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 185 ✭✭TheDuck32

Jeff Duvall has doubled up to 380k, he pushed with 87 of heart and Ryan called with A9 of diamonds, 3 hearts on the flop and Jeff is right back in it

They outlasted you so they get to make the choice. Men or not - it's their money now, not yours. And they can do with it what they please.

An how did playing like the big man with those massive balls of yours work out for you over the weekend?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 482 ✭✭oneillMan999

    lol....ur all very aggressive...calm down already! ;)
I just think doin deals takes away from the game...and its a cop out!!
proper events dont allow deals..we need to bring in that policy more in these medium buy-in events.

Anyway..good luck to the lads left..hope some1 walks away with 80k in his pocket.
