Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok, had to edit the original post after i read the charter.

So, would a company be in their rights to fire someone if they didn't turn up for a shift that they knew they had to work, and showed evidence that this was the case?

If someone tried their best to get off a certain day and the company were unable to give them the day off, could they ring in sick? would the company be in their rights to dismiss someone with such conduct? Or, is the most they can do ask for a med cert??

You can't ask for legal advice here.

I don't think there is a legal entitlement to sick leave.
