The Irish Yeast Co. on College Green do cake stuff, not sure if they do boxes though. You could try Stock besides Stephen's Green shopping centre, or Avoca on Suffolk St.

THIS has been my issue too!!!!

'Cakebox' is dun laoghaire only do paper/card cake boxes.

For re-usable boxes (whihc i've been looking for):
'the anvil' in bray have one size plastic ones http://us.locknlock.com/productDetail.asp?productNumber=143
they also have one tin one which I have my eye on:http://www.dotcomgiftshop.com/shopexd.asp?id=2434
it's pricey, but I am tempted!

kitchen complements have cake boards, but not sure if i saw the paper boxes there or not; i don't remember seeing them.
i searched arnotts and debenhams and none there.
never seen cake boxes in avoca, and i do visit often enough.
'Stock' have the same tin one i showed above for 'the anvil', but hasn't been in stock long. i'd wonder if they still have them (saw them about a month ago in there).

    good luck!
