I urgently needed to get a folding bicycle it is for cycling about 5 miles into and out of town to get to my creche in time where I will store the bike in a shed overnight. If you are on a budget, then I know the shop at the end of Wexford Street (forget the name, not Penny Farthing) sell cheap ones (about 200-250). Be warned though they are slow and heavy. If you are not on a budget, go to Cycleways and buy a Brompton.

Actually the best cheap one would be the Dahon Speed D7.
