hi guys i was thinking of selling my 06 nissan primera, and getting a 2003 toyota hilux, do you people think the toyota hilux is a good one to buy, will it be very expensive to run (diesel wise), and how much would the tax be for a 2.5 diesel engine. thanks guys.

Lol, i would say your less likely to get an answer on this side, as not alot of people seem to use it. But anywho

As far as i am aware, the Hilux is a crew cab, therefore commerciallly taxed at Around 270? (OPen to correction). As for diesel, alot of jeeps that size are going to be in and around the same economy wise.

What engine is in the Primera at the moment? What's your budget?(incl. trade in etc.). Are you going for the double or single car (ie. two or five seat).

i had an 2002 2.2dci primera and sold it and got myself a 1996 2.8L Mitsi Pajero and I've gone from 45-50mpg to *almost* 20mpg. :(

bio-diesel has saved my skin tho so it's not all bad. :)
