Hey I've been searching on ebay for a white Blackberry Pearl, but I'm confused about what RIM is?? Will the phone still work over here if its unlocked? Thanks...

RIM stands for Research In Motion. They are the manufacturers. e.g. RIM Blackberry 8130 as opposed to Nokia 8600 Luna or Samsung u900 Soul

if it's unlocked and it's at least 900/1800 GSM (dual band) there should be no problems.
