Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi dear parents mate!

We would like to know how is working the "back to school allowance". We need to claim. We claimed soon the FIS in last year november, but one of my employer a bit late for this we haven't receiving yet. We have know the FIS is need -this is the base- to the Back to School Allowance. We have 2 secondary school and one of elementary school age children. Also how and where can we claim this very helpful allowance. Recently I needed to change my job -thanks for the recession and the american economy- because me and many of my irish workmate had to go (cut back) there does't matter you are gen.op or engineer or supervisor.
Many thanks for the tips or advices.

It's so easy? We need to bring anything with me or we need to match to any criteria to claiming? Also what is the rules? And what kind of Welfare Office, Social or Community?

Hi this link should have all the info you need to get started.

You need to go to your Community Welfare Officer (at your local health centre) as it is a HSE allowance. Hope this helps.
