Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Graduation Ball!

    Who's going?
    Firstly, The Office of the Student Life would like to congratulate all who
    passed their recent exams and wish anyone doing repeat exmas in August the
    very best of luck.

    The time is soon coming to celebrate all your hard work.

    The Graduation Ball will be held on Tuesday 11th November at the Burlington
    Hotel. This is a black tie event incorporating a 4 course meal. Tickets
    cost €75 and are limited to 6 per person.

    Graduation Ball Tickets will go on Sale on Wednesday 6th August 2008 at 10
    am. Numbers are limited so make sure you get your ticket early.

    Please phone 700 6108 from 6th August 08 to speak to a member of the Graduation
    Ball Sales Team.

    Don't worry if you are abroad for the Summer, you can book your ticket using
    a credit / laser card over the phone. (Please note there is a 2.75% bank
    charge on credit cards but not on laser). Alternatively you can go to Campus
    AIB and ask them for a Graduation Ball lodgement slip and bring the stub
    to the SU office to collect your tickets. Unfortunately, we cannot accept
    cash for tickets. Tickets can be posted by Registered post. A postage &
    packaging fee of €5 will apply to cover costs.

    The Burlington is offering a special room only rate of 130 Euro or 145 Euro
    for B&B (Single) 160 Euro (Double) - please phone them directly for more
    details or to make a booking (01 618 5600).

    The Graduation Ball Ticket Sales Desk is open from 9:30 to 5 and closes for
    lunch from 1 to 2. Mon to Fri. Over the summer months the opening hours
    will change on a weekly basis. For the week of the 4th & 11th August
    it will be open from Weds to Fri only and will be closed the week of the
    18th.

    up to date information in relation to opening hours etc.

    Tickets for the conferring ceremony are available from Registry. Information
    in relation to graduation services will be available on your portal page
    shortly. For any other information in relation to graduation services please
    contact Registry on 700 5338.

    If you have any queries in relation to the Graduation Ball please e-mail
    your query to secretarial.bureau@dcusu.ie, clearly stating Graduation Ball
    in the subject title.
