Passenger or Cargo versions ? Because I read that the remaining pax 747s were solely being used flying to Mexico Cityaybe it's those that have been withdrawn

I heard cargo version was grounded and hasn't flown for weeks. Maybe they are withdrawing their entire 747 fleet.

What was odd about the pax decision was they had 6 747s left to run the one route to Mexico City.

Sad if its true, even less 747's in the world:-(

Considering there's already a 2x daily 777 service to DUB already, I can see why people would be disappointed.

Absolutely when compared to the opportunity of a 747!

Don't forget I'm in Clare myself.
Imagine a 747 being replaced by a 757 in a cargo operation, you'd be very disappointed.

Kenny, any log for Thursday last, the 14th? I saw a mid sized airliner (I originally thought it was a A320, but then it looked a bit bigger - maybe a 767) land RWY16 around 7:30AM. It appeared to be white with a blue rear, cut diagonally around 2/3rds down the fuselage. Nothing on FR24 to match. It was a good bit ahead of me, so didn't get a clear view.

Here is a crappy image from the dashcam:

Yes, that's it. Fatter than the A320 but not quite a 767. Livery looks spot on. Thanks a bunch. Don't see too many 310s anymore.

Thanks for the heads up at the moment no AP- aircraft showing on FR24 heading this way.
Can you confirm registration as the Shaheen A320s I can find are AP-BLH,BLI,BLJ,BLK & BLM.

    thanks Ken

If it's for painting, the last 340-600 was in for 5-6 days I think, correct me if I'm wrong, do a search for Lufthansa 340-600 on here.
