Thats nearly the problem, there is nowhere for people who spot planes in SNN,ORK,NOC,KIR,WAT,CFN etc to post unless they really dig. This is the avaition and aircraft fourm, not the Dublin fourm and considering its stickied (The point of being stickied is due to it being an important thread that may not get enough posts to have it at the top isn't it?) it should really cover a broader area. I find it a little biased imo to have it only as Dublin. Of course the thread started out as Dublin, why should that stop it?

Have different threads for the others, how it can a thread called Dublin Airport Spotters be biased towards Dublin :P Like it or not it's THE beast of an airport on the island of Ireland... Stop with the Shannon love in pls :p

My vote, leave it the way it is, start another thread with whatever subject title you settle on. If it gets the traffic and support in sure it can be stick'd in time.

No more stickies, please. There are way too many at the moment.

Have a different thread for the rest, well thats an alternate suggestion but I dont think its fair unless its stickied. Yes Dublin has the majority of the traffic, but it doesn't get all of it. EG. 4 consecutive days in a row with 747's at Shannon. Also show me where I singled out Shannon (Except now of course), I am speaking just as much for Cork and others.

Look at the stickied area, there's nothing for the regionals, only Dublin. If that's not slightly biased I dont know what is.

As someone just pointed out, the sticky area is already getting cluttered. Really interesting events at the other airports is rare, DUB is so busy and varied on a daily basis that it absolutely merits a sticky and most interesting things will happen there anyway.

It's fine as it is. Dublin has by far the most movements and in fairness there's been many standalone threads for SNN and ORK when something unusual turns up. If there's a desire for it I'll create a SNN spotters/ORK spotters etc.threads and all posts about movements from the respective airports will go into them. They won't be stickied however as there's enough stickies on the first page already.

Arkia Israeli Airlines operate to Dublin from Tel Aviv on Wednesdays this July and August. This pictures are of the second flight of the season. The first flight of the season on 1/7/15 landed two hours late. The flight is scheduled to arrive at 22:05 as IZ921 and depart at 23:35 as IZ922.

The flight arrived at about 22:15 so it was getting dark. The picture quality isn't great due to the light unfortunately, but it's better than no pictures at all! :)

Does anyone know anything about Eastern Airways at Dublin? I keep seeing flights to/from Shetland on the Dublin Airport site and FR24. It's not a scheduled service.

    Calling All Spotters!
I am flying on my own for the very first time tomorrow (16 July), from Leeds-Bradford to Dublin.
If possible, I would love for someone to take a picture of my flight landing in Dublin! The prize is to have your picture and forum name framed up on my wal

The flight is Aer Lingus EI3395 departing at about 18:40 and arriving at roughly 19:55.

They only have 2 ET-AML & ET-AND and neither appears on FR24 at the moment

I'd say that the MD11s will arive, park up on the disused runway for the day, then depart. Thats what all of ET's deliveries did.

I'd say west apron as 29 is for mediums at best not heavies.

Interesting as Ethiopian fired all its expat MD11 pilots and transitioned the locals to the 777, so the aircraft aren't in regular service.
