Anyone got any news on the Transaero 747? Last I heard was no confirmed arrival time and it'll be coming on saturday/sunday, does anyone know any more?

Possibly due Sat but not confirmed yet as engines only arrived in Teruel today.

I saw a Transawro 744 sitting in Victorville CA, last weekend, it had an EI registration.

Lots of Russian and Italian (in my experience anyway)aircraft have EI registrations. EI is among the top locations for international aircraft leasing.

Not coming just yet engine problems. But something equally nice could be coming in the next few days if reports are right.

What a great morning I had this morning/afternoon. Saw 5 EI 330s, the entire -200 fleet (LAX, DUO and EWR taking off) and saw DAA landing about half 12, she must have been in from San Francisco.
Saw 2 A330s taking off one after the other, LAX was first, then EAV followed her.
Emirates took off about 10 to 1, A6-ECV. She only used about three quarters of the runway.

    Beautiful weather today too.

I've heard the same but dates and reg has changed so many times in the last two weeks I won't believe it until it's airborne, it seems it may be out in the open for a week or so of the ASL 737-400 goes into the hangar for paint first.
