    Ok guys
    Reading a magazine here
    Flick to next page.
Big ad for a mars bar.
It reads on the mars bar "FREE from artificial colours, flavourings, preservatives".
    It's a sign
    I better go now!

Maybe I will live, with no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives I might just a have minor heart attack and live to tell ye all.

    I've just remembered I cant have them....bugger.
I'm allergic to eggs and last time I looked they had eggs in them.....I'm sad now.:(
Nicolaonfire you are lucky. I'll be with you in spirit.

Good luck Nicola. Correct me if I'm wrong (I probably am) but doesn't frying oil (not olive oil) used in chippers contain artificial colours, flavourings and preservatives, not to mention a frightful dolop of artery blocking cholesterol? Goodness knows what's in trans fat. Oh here let me point you in the right direction.

    Yes you are correct
But mars bars have none of that, they used to but now they don't.
If I were to be doing this before they removed colours, preservatives etc then I would have double the amount because of the Mars bar AND the oil! So now it sounds better because mars bars no longer have them so it's like it's halfing the amount of that kind of stuff!!

I am gonna try it later on.
    Verdict maybe tomorrow!

interesting combination the greasy batter, melted choclate and a still formed caramel and nougat centre
