Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Rangers have signed Maurice Edu from Toronto whatever theyre called pending his work permit application.

He seems highly rated from what ive read, but i know nothing of American "soccer".
    Has anyone seen him play?

But there have been a few decent players came out of it, hopefully this lad can do a job for us.

Oh well players like Landon DONAVON are good. has edu been in usa squad, if he has then he must be of a good enough standard, cause' even though us football is weak, there team is decent.

Might be another sebo though altough isnt this guy a midfielder?

wage bills in MLS are incredibly tight, except for the odd few profile raisers like Beckham. because of this it's a pretty poor league, but things are looking up for it by the sound of things.

He has 6 caps for the USA (he is only 22), and played in the Olympics for them.

He is a defensive midfielder who is seemingly comfortable at centre back also.

Isnt he an attacking mid fielder?

He was on trial with United last year but I dont think he got far.

Think he used to play for DC United years ago. Saw him play once. About the same standard as league of Ireland but they play in way better stadiums

Wrong edu. Maurice edu was draftered at 1 in last years year college draft, he won the young player of the year award. Good player but not worth 3 million. Will do well in scotland though.

The edu you are talking about is freddy edu is not making the grade in benfica, surprise, surprise.

Think you're getting Adu mixed up.

I think Freddy Adu may now have moved on from Benfica to the French league.
