Good wireless providers?

Hey I'm moving into a new flat next week and we dont' have a phone line, so it would seem that out only internet option is wirelss. I've heard bad things about Irish broadbands' ripwave. Is there many if any alternatives? We found an NTL connector behind the couch would they provide a better service? We're all students so…

We're all students so we really need something cheap and reliable, it must also be wirelss as we all have laptops.
