8 year old daugher has diabetes

    She seems to have settled a bit now, (since she started horse riding) the docs wont change her insulin they are happy enough.

    she jumps from needing 7 units in a morning one month to only 2 units a morning a month later with the same amount of carbs taken. insulin requiremnts change due to the amount of growth hormone is in her system. she has growing spurts around april and requires more insulin at this time because the growth hormone stops insulin absorbsion.

    it was mainly her attitude that was the problem but now she has a hobby she seems better, got to go my 3 year old is climbing everest.
