Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

In recent years there has been a dramatic increase in the numbers but its just first come first serve on a daily basis if thats what ya mean.

Not at certain points in second semester last year. I worked in the helix and there was complications about students parking in restricted helix lane spots as there was no other spaces available. Maybe they were just too lazy to look for one which would be no surprise tbh.

You use your student card as far as i know but i think you need it swiped to add the car park facility to it. I'll need someone to confirm that but thats how i think it works.

    Quick Tip:
Park at the church up from the Ballymun Road Enterance if you're in early enough. No clamping or that and it's only around the corner and it's FREE!

It's first come first served. The free car parks just need the student card to get into, I know a guy who had to get a new card cause it wouldn't register with his student card the first time.

The multi-story is 6 days for 7 euro, need to show your student card to buy these special tickets. During term time it can be hard to find a space after 10am, but people are leaving the whole time so you can always wait. Also the free car park fills up by around 8.30 usually. Off peak time you are nearly always guaranteed a space in the free car park (after 4pm & during the summer)

Or the car park over by the invent building, thats free, but fairly far from the college in comparison to the other car parks

If I owned a car I'd park in the grandparents house. 24/7 parking right around the corner from the traffic lights just on Shanowen Avenue \o/

    Hauk

If you have a 6 pass ticket for car park 1 (multi-storey) do you need to show a student card too?

So does that mean I'll have to park in Car Park 1 and pay the visitor fees until I get my student card? Thats gonna work out much dearer!!!

thoeretically u need your student card to buy the tickets but never once last yr did i get asked....as long as your young looking they just give them to you! just pay visitors the first day or else park in the set down area and go get one if your really broke. U get them at the office by the exit ramp. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CAR AT THE BARRIER and jump out!
