Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

First time poster. And first time Linux user

I've a Asus eeePC 900 running a cut down version of Xandros. I want to install Ubuntu 8.04 (as I have on my laptop).

I've been looking at http://www.ubuntu-eee.com/ but that seems more focussed on the eeePC 700.

Anyway, I have Ubuntu running off a USB key and it works okay, but no wireless, webcam, etc. So before I take the plunge and install it, I was wondering if anyone has here has installed Ubuntu and ended up with a fully functioning netbook.

    Thanks,

    Gtxizang.

Any update on this? I'm thinking of trying Xubuntu with Adamm's kernel when I get my 1000H.

And No, I don't have any idea what the above actually means.
