Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We got a campervan for Electric Picnic and to be honest I don't have a clue about them. I wanted to know, is a generator essential kit for the weekend and anything else that we might need. We'll need to charge phones, play music etc in it - so any help would be great!

On their site they indicate that only diesel generators are allowed. Diesel generators are not cheap!! They also have an optional electric hookup but haven't detailed prices.
It depends on your campervan and the quality of your leisure battery, you may survive without a generator. If your battery is good and you're only running lights, water pump, chargers then you'd probably survive for the weekend (might have run the engine a few times to charge the batteries a bit). Don't bother bringing a microwave or 800watt speakers etc. if you're on batteries:D Other essentials would be a fire extingsher, Tank of gas for cooking/heating, soap and wellies:D
