People seem to want to talk about lego. So what's the best thing you did or the funniest or most creative thing you did with lego?

The only good thing about building in lego, was the excitement as you got nearer and nearer to the smashing it back down part.

    I went through stages.

    Age 2 - 4
Messy contraptions with no structural merit

    Age 5 - 8
Cars and moderatly sezed corporate buildings to drive them into

    Age 9 - 10
    Discovered lego techno

    Age 11 - 12
Used motors and basic robotics to great effect to build remote control cars and various other vehicles. Dreams of being an inventor.

    Age 12 - 13
Has noticed that he is above the recommended 11 - 16 age ratings on the boxes at the side. Begins to dream big.

    Age 13
Starts secondary school. Discovers girls and learns that lego is for gheys. Puts the four big boxes of lego under his bed and wishes that he'll one day, he'll find a lady who loves lego as much as he does.

    Keep the dream alive.

Why do people keep saying "Those were the days" and "I miss it". Its not like its extinct. Go out and get some!! It is soooo relaxing to play with now. I have the mindstorms NXT set and have gotten a few small Lego Technic sets to incorporate with it, but just building them is fun.

    Btw Im 25.

Used my old Lego mindstorms and made something that separated black blocks from white blocks on a conveyor belt. Now if only there was serious demand for this service?!

Best thing I ever built was my Lego thechnic JCB... Epic piece of kit, and I wouldn let anyone even look at it let alone see the hydrolics in action

I built as much of the terminator as possible - which was the skull, some of the shoulder and an entire right arm. They were all built to match my measurements at the time (I was about 10/11) and I had to stop when I ran out of bits!
