    Hi, would it be possible to mark threads 'as read' in the user cp?

    It is, double click the image to the left of the name. Looks like a notice pinned up.

    EDIT: sorry, that actually only works for fora

    Yeah, basically the same thing, except for threads.

    I use the cooliris plugin in FF to preview threads from the UCP - it's really quick and you've then the option to open it in a tab if you want to reply.
    Once you've previewed, it marks them as read (after a refresh).

Rich Text Editor. To edit a paragraph's style, hit tab to get to the paragraph menu. From there you will be able to pick one style. Nothing defaults to paragraph. An inline formatting menu will show up when you select text. Hit tab to get into that menu. Some elements, such as rich link embeds, images, loading indicators, and error messages may get inserted into the editor. You may navigate to these using the arrow keys inside of the editor and delete them with the delete or backspace key.
