Breast feeding doesnt bother me at all..

Having breast fed in public, I have never felt embarrased or ashamed of feeding my child.. It is what god intended for my boobs to do...

I try to be as discreet as I can with a shawl draped accross my shoulder. But if someone gets a flash of my tit and is offended by it, It is there problem not mine..

It is a wonderful gift to be able to give your child..

It seems to be women being completely indiscreet while doing it that is an issue.

Was on the bus home a couple of weeks ago and there was a woman, sitting facing me in the disabled chair where the middle doors used to be breastfeeding away very obviously. It made me uncomfortable because where can you look? You don't want to seem like a perv.

Unless a woman is comfortable with being stared at by people as she breastfeeds then she should try be a bit more discreet.

Still she could have been a bit more discreet than opening her blouse pretty much down to her navel then lifting her kid onto her shoulder after feeding to wind it without closing her shirt, all the time staring daggers at the two dozen people trapped desperately trying to be polite and look elsewhere.

End of the day it is polite to look at something else. I don't think any woman would like being "oogled" by people when she's breastfeeding but it behoves her to try and help by being as discreet as possible.
