Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Renting a pitch

Myself and the lads from work regularly play matches against one of their (the workmates) friends and his teammates. The opposition are all from Dundalk, and every time we play up there in Oriel Park and then go out on the rip.

Thing is, they're constantly at us to organise a game down here in Dublin. I honestly cannot think of anything even approaching the quality of the pitch up there that we could rent in Dublin so thought I'd check with the learned ones in the Soccer forum.

Oriel costs about €200 altogether(which is an absolute bargain) and while I'm not expecting something in that price range, we're looking for something with a decent pitch, nets and changing rooms. Including paying for a ref, the budget would be in and around the €350-€400 mark.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you looking for grass or an artificial surface akin to Oriel Park?

The LSL might know of someone who can help.

AUL complex is also an option. They have both all weather and grass pitches with dressing rooms showers etc. May not be as good as Oriel park, but cost would be about €200 including referee. Close to M1 for the away side too.
