Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Apparantly he wasn't feeling well at the game last night. Was taken to Beaumont at 6am today after the team returned. Latest from the hospital is that he is in a "stable" condition.

    Get well soon Liam.

Sorry, but after reading that, I had an image of a doctor coming in to Liam...

"Liam we found out what the problem is.
    You're pregnant.
    Congatulations!"
    :D

Seriously though, it seems that he was taken in as a precaution.
Fingers crossed he gets the all clear.

Now, to me, that just seems like a massive over reaction to what was said. The guy is stable in hospital after feeling a bit sick - that is all we have heard so far. It's not like he died.

Well thats not even true is it?

He is in the Coronary Care unit of Beaumount hospital after getting pains in his back and chest, people should wish the man well and not make jokes a 2-year old wouldn't even find funny.

Because he is going to be reading this for all the well wishing and subsequently get horribly offended by a middle of the road joke?

And let's face it, when he gets back to the Arsenal youth academy, the young fellas will be giving him stick about eating too much Tandoori, all in jest. I'd be more upset by Sarge's comment if Brady brokered world peace. Anyway get well soon Liam. He was probably afraid to fart in front of Gio, a case of Trapped wind.

    I'll get my coat

    From irishtimes.com Friday, 22nd August, 2008

Republic of Ireland assistant team manager Liam Brady has been discharged from Beaumont hospital this afternoon following completion of his medical examinations.

The former international was admitted to Beaumont yesterday after an episode of back and chest pains on his return from Olso where the Republic drew 1-1 in an international friendly with Norway on Wednesday night.

The 52-year-old had been examined by the Republic team doctor before being admitted to hospital as a precautionary measure.

"He has been given a clean bill of health and has told us he will return to work tomorrow when he will travel to London to be at the Tottenham v Sunderland match with Marco Tardelli," today's FAI statement read.
