Antique Radiators

About to do a small renovation job on an old terraced redbrick. Considering antique radiators. Was wondering if anyone has done this and if they give out good heat? Have heard that they are not great. Any advice please?

Be careful if the radiators are old ,they decay when there is not water in them.
The inside starts to corrode as soon as they are drained of water.
