Steel Tormentor have been confirmed to play the annual Sligo Whiplash metal festival.The festival will be taking place on the weekend of October 24th-26th 2008.For further information on the festival go to www.sligowhiplash.com

The band has a new line up & this will be our first gig in over a year & a half.

The new album........

During a very enjoyable week in Italy with producer Nick Savio at the helm we have finished half of the album & hope to complete the whole thing in October.

The recording process so far has been a great experience & the results we are getting sound very raw & very heavy we couldn't be happier.We are really looking forward to getting the album finished so we can get out on the road & promote it properly.

Unleashed sold out again.......

The debut album Unleashed has officially sold out & there will be no more pressings of the album in its current format.We may however re-release the album at some point in the future in a different format with different artwork if the demand is there.

This band is amazing...

For any fans of Iron Maiden, Hammerfall, Helloween, Priest, etc. you will love this band! Highly recommended... and if that's not proof enough, their album has sold out totally :eek:

Paul Newell from the band whitewater will play bass on the new album.Some of you may know already Paul played bass on the debut album Unleashed so hes no stranger to the Steel & we are looking forward to working with him again.

The recording sessions have been booked for the 5th-12th of October so we expect to have the album finished mixed & mastered by the end of October.We still havent decided on a release date & it will be late November or December before you'll be able to get you hands on a copy.Maybe later if a label gets involved.

We are still looking for a full time bassist so if you know of anyone who would suit the band then tell them to get in touch.

Cheers for the support sobriety its much appreciated.I think alot of people will be surprised when they hear the new album we're hoping it can bring the band to the next level.;)

I can't wait to hear it... by the time Maiden come back to Ireland again, I reckon you guys should be supporting them, especially with a pro produced album under the belts!!

Hello Dagon cheers for the support.

I honestly think the best has yet to come from the band especially live.In the past there was a lack of confidence on stage from certain members who are no longer with the band.Its one of the main reasons I made changes so im hoping the new line up will deliver the goods on stage this time round
