Gun Clubs in Athlone / Roscommon Area.

    Hello,

    1st time post in this forum Guys!

    I am moving to the Roscommon side of Athlone & want to join a gun club in the area - if there is one.

    I'd like to know if there is anywhere down there with a range?

    I haven't been able to find any useful info on the net so far.. and am wondering if any of you know the area?

    Any pointers? I'd appreciate the advice.

    You didn't say what kind of shooting. The nearest range that I know of is Midlands in Tullamore.

    Great - Thanks a million.

    Targets at the start I think anyway.

    Have done clays & targets before.. Haven't gone hunting yet.

    My friend has given me a .22 rifle - so I want to be able to get a licence so I can take it from him.

    Somewhere local would be ideal.. more likely to go! :)

    Tullamore seems grand.
