I need to replace my driveway which is solid concrete but badly cracked & uneven etc from use over the years. Was thinking of getting nice black concrete imprint job done. Would the existing concrete need to be busted up and removed first ?
Driveway is straight in and at right angles to the LA footpath and the
    area is 12m x 3m.
What needs to be done and what are the likely costs ?
My tks for any advice offered.

To do it properly yes, all the old stuff needs to go.

100/125 euro a sq meter should get u a long way.

Just be aware that the finish u have in mind sometimes
has a high correlation with the other half of indians so be careful who u get:)

Is it just me or are 90% of driveway contractors of no fixed abode?

I would suggest you find exampled of the finish you like and literally knock on doors to get opinions and recommendations, be not shy as it could save you!!!

There is a stone finish, in various colours and stone sizes available.
Its only about 10mm thick and is quickly applied by trowel over concrete.

    Its ideal over existing concrete.
Costs around €60/sqm supplied and fitted.

    PM for details.

A stamped concrete job for 36 sq mtrs shouldn't cost no more than 3500 unless there righty milking it. That is taking out old and putting in new.

As I wrote above, PM for details.

I thought the resin bonded gravel was ferociously expensive?
