Yes. You could top up their mobile using an atm if you know their number.

what you can do is buy some 3 credit, then call 0833333444 from a non-3 phone and you'll be given the option to enter a phone number and top it up

the really annoying thing is that you can't even select 083 on the number list on aib. i have an 083 number but ported it out to a different so really there's no reason i shouldn't be able to top it up but they won't let me select it :mad:
