Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Signal Quality...

Having problems and I'm scratching my noodle.

    Have HD box.

Signal 1 Quality and Strength - Approx 75% across each.

Signal 2 Same but drops on and off.

We're picking up most channels but some say no satellite signal received.

Any ideas. Failing that can anyone recommend an installer in the Dundrum/Sandyford area.

    Cheers.

Bugging the bejaysus out of me.

Possibly an lnb or cable problem, try switching the dish connection and see does it make any difference to your signal/quality reading.

Will try another cable / lnb.

Before I get more cable I have been having some doubts.

Signal 2 seems to have dropped completely. Thought I would reverse the cables at the back (i.e. cable that was in input 1 into input 2 and vice versa. Still have Signal 1 working at approx 75% quality/strength. Would that suggest input 2 isn't working on the sky hd box?

    Bewildered.

Thats why I suggested it, sounds like a problem with the box itself.

    Fcek it.

Whats the solution? Can I bring the box somewhere to be looked at? I should have mentioned I only have 50% of channels working?

Is it easier to get a new box. I'd be gutted, the first one wasn't cheap.

Tony, if you think you can help, you might PM me. Regards.

You could try Armstrongs in Dublin and get an estimate from them. Try the satcure site also, lots of good info on there. Theres also the option of booking a service call from sky
