Hi, I live in Dublin and I am after cleaning up my garden and just cut down the hedges and trees, there's a fair bit of waste, I rang the corpo and they wont take my "Green Waste" because I have the cuttings in my 8x4 trailer, just wondering does anyone know of anywhere that will take it for free, the place on Ballymount Road want to charge me €100.00. Thanks. Paul.

I was up in the Green Centre the corpo have on Collins Avenue this morning.
There was a guy with a small trailer and they let him get rid of it after a bit of persuasion. Would you not bag it and bring it up on a couple of runs in the car? I had a car full today, 10 full heavy duty sacks, they all fit in with a bit of a squeeze.

btw the green waste is usually only taken on a saturday/sunday afaik.
