Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bluetooth module trouble XP SP3

Recently replaced my hard drive (Dell Inspiron 6000) and reinstalled XP (this time from an XP SP2 disk, was originally XP with SP2 added later). Shortly after installation, I upgraded to SP3.

However, when I tried to reinstall the Bluetooth module (which I robbed two years ago from my father's laptop and successfully used since), it keeps telling me it can't find a suitable driver. I've downloaded the most up-to-date driver from Dell without success on installation. And in the control panel, there's no Bluetooth control nor a bluetooth item in the Device Manager (though there is an unknown device BCM2045).

I've been googling this and it appears that there are issues with the XP driver blocking any other drivers but the fix that's quoted for XP SP2 doesn't work. Have also tried removing the module and reinstalling it again - it finds it but is always unable to install.

    Anyone any ideas?

maybe try downloading the drivers from the manufacture if they're available, not dell, but the company that produced the blue tooth module. No harm in trying :)
