Are looking to sell our car -

VW Passat, Nov 2004, 1.6 Base, 62k miles, taxed to Mar09. It was a demo in the garage until we bought it two years ago. Good condition, no knocks.

Problem is ive no idea how much it would go for - VRT tool gives an 11k valuation, similar ones on carzone go for between 10k & 14k.

Can anyone advise its value in todays market? Thanks

I think the car is worth about €8500-€9,000

The diesel and imports have really killed the market for the 1.6 petrol Passats.
Also the fact that it is the base model, the only thing that can be appealing about the car is the price.
Colm isn't too far off, here's one that will offer warranty.
