It's definitely possible for someone to drum that fast :).

There are many more examples here.

I was at the Download festival a couple of years ago when he did that moving drumkit part. It's very impressive when seen in person, a grainy YouTube video doesn't quite do it justice ;).

He certainly is ridiculously talented musically. As well as drums with Slipknot, he plays guitar with Murderdolls and I think he played bass on some songs on the Roadrunner 25th Anniversary CD too.

    I love the Murderdolls, they're hilarious. :D

Joey is a really talented drummer, I must admit.

Listening to album at the moment. I'm liking Psychosocial (very Metallica-ish riff imo) and I love Snuff. It's really lovely. :o Vendetta is classsss. Love the Vermillion remix too obviously. *la la la... sway*

I keep having to edit this every time a new song comes on! So many good ones. I'm adding bonus tracks Child of Burning Time and 'Til we Die to the list too.

got special edition what is the story with the dvd. i keep getting the large heads over and over

I'm sure you've probably figured it out by now but I just clicked Play and it worked. Weird DVD. Very like the "Inside the 9" DVD they released not so long ago.

The album is a big departure and development from their norm. Some songs are very very Stone Sour but all in all, I like the majority of it.

Jordison is a good drummer on an album. But in fairness he's cack live. Which begs the question, how many takes did he need when recording the album to absolutely nail it??

 I've seen Slipknot live 3 times and I have to say in my experience he has been excellent. Maybe you saw him at a bad time or you have ridiculously high expectations from drummers :).

He is by no means the greatest drummer in the world, but he is very good at what he does.

When I saw them in the RDS (maybe it was just the acoustics, or lack of..) It seemed the bass and drum were out of synch... Let me down I must say :(

Now i wouldnt say rediculously tallented. Hes a good songwriter and all but his drumming is pretty mleh in comparison to a lot of other metal drummers out there. That being said, i dunno could any other drummer play for slipknot and fit in half as well.

Personally I would say that being able to play drums, guitar and bass to a sufficiently high standard to be signed to multiple lucrative contracts does make someone rediculously talented musically. Just look at the amount of people out there who can't even get to grips with one instrument :).

ah he is a great drummer....the way he plays toms is unique...when i heard his drumming on subliminal verses i had to ratchet my jaw back into position!....i only listen to the new album once....its good but imo not close to subliminal verses...but understandable cos that is a landmark album....

This is true, i shoulda really phrased that one better, that his technical ability of drumming is very overrated, however no doubt about it hes a savage well rounded musician!

I also agree with your point from your previous post about there being better drummers out there. I'm not going to name any however, that'll just open up a can of worms ;).

New album is average at best, very dissapointed, not a patch on Volume 3 at all. Only stand out tracks to speak of are 'physosocial' and 'all hope is gone'. Very few good 'songs'. :(

I was pleasantly suprised with their new album. I prefer Volume 3 also, but you can tell they've kind of "grown" as a band.

    I love Psychosocial :D

    I love Psychosocial and snuff.

dead memoires, Gematria, all hope is gone and till we die and the songs that sand out to me also.

    Good album.
Not as good as Korn's last album which was a fine example of great "mellowing"
