Student Nightclubs in City Centre

    Howdy Dubliners,

    Just looking for some recommendations for studenty- type nightclubs in Dublin, for 18/19/20 year olds.. Will be travelling up for a weekend in Sept for a gig in the RDS, and don't want to waste all our time just trying to find somewhere to go out after!

    Staying in Ballsbridge, so anywhere in the city centre really.. I'm not completely lacking knowledge of Dublin geography, but getting lost is still a distinct possibility:p

    21 and Redz on O'Connell bridge are decent, Tripod and Crawdaddy at the end of Harcourt st. can be fun and then theres Citibar on Dame st. To be honest, they're all pretty ****. Though if I had to pick one; either 21 or Crawdaddy.

    Crawdaddy only allow 21+ in some nights.

    21 (its not over 21 ironically)
    Messer Maguires - both on Connell Bridge
    Citibar - Dame Street
    D2 - Harcourt St.
    Rios
    Legs - Both on Upper Leeson St.

    why not? they don't seem to care who they let in to leggs so long as they are willing to pay crazy money for <SNIP> wine!!!

    Probably bit pricey for a student budget but really don't think their door policy is that strict!
