I'm having problems registering

    I'm following the instructions I was given to register on UCD.ie but it's not working. I get as far as UCD Connect (successfully entering with my CAO number and date of birth) > My Records > Student Information System at which point I receive the error "Authorization Failure - Invalid User ID or PIN" even though I am using the exact same login information that allowed me to access UCD Connect in the first place.

    I've already emailed UCD support about this but have yet to hear back.

    Anyone have any ideas what's really wrong?

    Go to here. Then enter your student number and in the password field enter your date of birth in DDMMYY format.

    What way are you entering your dob?

    If youre doing it by 01/01/1989 it will not accept it.

    Do it like 010189

    If you are a first year you cant register until the 29th

    You can't register your modules but you can give all your personal details and stuff and pay the registration fee.. You should be able to get into the Student Information System

    That's what I thought. Hmm. Then I'm back to square one.

    And yeah, that's how I'm entering my date of birth.

    Yes of course cos you have to wait until Round 2 of the CAO comes through.
