I'm looking to get a quote tattooed on my inner wrist. Are there any great tattoo parlours in Ireland that specialise in line work or fine text work? And who will use black ink [instead of almost-black ink]. I'm based in Dublin but willing to travel for the perfect place :)

Any tattoo artist should master line work before even dreaming of tattooing. well thats for decent tattooist.(imo) do any decent place should do for that, state what exactly you want from your tattoo before you get it done and check the artists portfolio and ask to see examples of their script work, obviously.

All black ink Is black ink. if not then your not getting black ink
if you unsure, ask them to rub a bit of the ink on one of their latex gloves. Its been done for me once or twice cause i was unsure of colour.

so by going by looking for decent places telling the artist what you want and by looking at examples of their script work you sure be able to find someone that can do what your looking for.

wait, you think that some places are just opting to use an off black instead of black? why would anyone do that?

The ink is not going to sit pretty on the outside of your skin, once healed. it will be under a layer of skin - and how black the ink will appear will depend on the transparency of your own skin

My sister got a tattoo done at home in englandand was told by her tattoo artist that most places won't use black ink for some reason so he used a blue-black on her. I want black-black!! But if that is standard then that is grand!

The lines on my sisters star have bled out in places too and I want to make sure I do all I can to prevent that happening to the text on it wrist and just figured someone with specialities/experience in such fine line work would be the best to go to :)
