Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can someone direct me or answer the query I have regarding lone parents allowance.

Example: Your child does not live with you, but with her mother and her partner. Can he and I both claim the allowANCE. The revenue says that the child does not necessarily have to be biologically your child in order for you to claim.

The parent who has the main custody of the child claims the lone parents allowance.
If a parent has does not have main custody has the child for at least 1 over night in the
year they can apply for single parents tax credits.
